The end of summer has the world shining just a little more brightly. We can sense the swell of warmth, light and heat stretching as far as it will go. There is a sweetness of linger and that subtle awareness of the temporal natural of expansion. Like a grand inhale that fills our lungs and hearts with life, we know the exhale must follow. Late summer has us draw in just a little bit more, and embrace a little longer to see how much beauty we can fill in a season.

When we let go with the exhale, we will be left with just the essentials. The truly enduring will remain. Our dearest friends. Our one place to call home. Family. Our life's work. That private space within that stays unchanging as the seasons grow, swell, release and shift around us.
